SCI Bay Day, held on April 11 from 11 AM to 3 PM, brought together 75 participants for a day focused on adaptive sailing, community, and access to the water.
Sponsored by the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation, the event provided individuals with spinal cord injuries and their families the opportunity to experience Biscayne Bay in a supportive and inclusive environment. Participants engaged in sailing and waterfront activities designed to promote independence, confidence, and connection.
Throughout the day, the energy on the docks reflected the impact of accessible programming — where individuals are empowered to try new experiences and build meaningful relationships within the community.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Craig H. Neilsen Foundation for their continued support in making programs like SCI Bay Day possible.
