There’s something unforgettable about the moment the wind fills our sails. This April, Shake-A-Leg Miami invites you to experience that moment for yourself with the start of our ASA Sailing program! Designed for beginners and aspiring sailors alike, this course is the perfect introduction to life on the water.  

ASA 101 provides a strong foundation in sailing for those stepping onto a boat for the very first time, or those just looking to build confidence in their skills. Participants learn essential techniques like sail trimming, steering, and navigation, all while gaining a deeper understanding of safety and seamanship.  

More than just learning the mehcanics of sailing, this course unlocks new senses of freedom for all. Over the courses, students develop the confidence to take command of a sailboat and navigate open waters in real conditions. By the end, participants are equipped with the skills and knowledge to skipper a sailboat!  

Set aganst the beautiful backdrop of Biscayne Bay, every class offers a chance to connect with nature, build new skills, and become part of a welcoming, inclusive community.
