Pursuing Art

Samantha Concepcion, who earned Adobe Photoshop and Maya certifications at Robert Morgan Technical College, shares her dream of becoming an animator.

Pursuing Art — story of impact at Shake-A-Leg Miami adaptive water sports nonprofit

Hello, my name is Samantha Concepcion. I was born on May 1st, 1999, in Miami, Florida. I went to Robert Morgan Technical College for 4 years and graduated with certifications in Adobe Photoshop and Maya. Because of the Demoya Foundation, I have been able to follow my ongoing dream of becoming an animator. I appreciate the opportunity that the Shake-A-leg organization has given me to further develop my goals. I discovered my passion for the arts when I was in kindergarten coloring a rabbit for my teachers; they saw that I had the potential to make a career out of it. I am passionate about my artwork. It gives me comfort and takes me to another world. Hours can pass and I feel like it’s not work at all.
