March Racing Chronicles: A Month of Elite Competition

March was a strong month for regatta season. We were proud to be part of this busy sailing period, supporting the flow of events and being surrounded by the excitement that only regatta season brings. It is always a special time for the sailing community, and this March was no exception.

Bacardi Cup International (March 4-7): The Bacardi Cup brought elite international sailing to the bay from March 4 to 7, with highly competitive racing and incredible consistency from the teams on the water. Conditions challenged sailors throughout the week, making every race a true test of skill and focus.

Beyond the racing, the event also brought a strong sense of tradition and community. Being around one of the most iconic regattas in the world always adds something special to the season, and this year was no different!

M32 Series (March 9-15): The M32 Series brought a different level of intensity to the bay. Known for their incredible speed and agility, these high-performance catamarans delivered nail-biting, close-quarter racing. Every leg required split-second decision-making and flawless execution from the crews. The atmosphere was electric, providing a thrilling spectacle for both the sailors on the water and the spectators watching from the shore. It was a true display of modern, high-octane competitive sailing.

J70 Midwinters (March 27-29): We closed March with the J70 Midwinters from March 27 to 29, bringing another exciting chapter of competitive sailing to the bay. Teams pushed through tactical racing and shifting conditions, making for a dynamic and engaging final weekend of the month. It was the perfect way to wrap up March, with strong racing, great energy, and a full bay that reflected just how active the season has been.
