The M32 Miami Winter Series came to a thrilling conclusion April 13–19 on Biscayne Bay, delivering a week of high-performance racing, close competition, and meaningful community engagement.
Miles Julien’s Youngblood claimed the 2026 season championship after a consistent and hard-fought series, finishing just two points ahead of his brother Charlie Julien’s Rated X. The sibling rivalry added a compelling layer to an already competitive season, with top teams pushing each other through every race.
The final event of the series was won by Ryan McKillen’s Surge, whose team delivered a dominant performance across the regatta. From strong starts to tactical execution, the fleet demonstrated the precision and intensity that define M32 racing.
Beyond the competition, the series continued to reflect the strong partnership between the M32 Class and Shake-A-Leg Miami. For over a decade, the fleet has called our waterfront home, supporting our mission through community engagement, youth programming, and shared access to the water.
This season included initiatives such as Youth Night, where professional sailors connected with young athletes, inspiring the next generation and reinforcing the pathway from youth sailing to elite competition.
As the fleet prepares to head to Newport for the summer season, the impact of this winter series extends well beyond racing — strengthening community, supporting access, and celebrating the spirit of sailing.
