Explore, Learn, and Have Fun on Biscayne Bay
Set Sail for Adventure with the We Can Sail Program!
The We Can Sail Program at Shake-A-Leg Miami gives children and young adults with disabilities an opportunity to explore Biscayne Bay, develop new skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences on and around the water. It is one of our adaptive sailing programs.
Through hands-on activities and a supportive environment, participants can build confidence while discovering the marine environment and learning about safe boating. Each session combines education, exploration, and fun, creating opportunities for participants to connect with the water and with one another.
Craig Kirk, a Shake-A-Leg Miami mentor for more than two decades who has overseen water safety, is a leader in our Saturday We Can Sail program.
What Makes We Can Sail Special?
