Shake-A-Leg Summer Camps 2012 are around the corner!
Biscayne Bay becomes a natural adventure park and living laboratory as your child sails, kayaks, and explores their environment while improving their water sports skills. Create great summer memories for your child and their friends.
Camps run Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Extended hours are available at a nominal rate as follows: Before Care from 8:00am to 8:30am ($10 weekly in advance with tuition) and After Care from 3:30pm to 5:30pm ($40 weekly in advance with tuition).

Shake-A-Leg Summer Camps
Registration now open for sailing, kayaking
and other popular camps for all kids from 7 to 14, especially those with
physical, developmental and economic challenges
MIAMI, January 11, 2012-- It's not too early to be thinking of summer camps! Registration is now open for four of the most popular camps in Miami-Dade County. The sailing, kayaking and other summer camps are operated by Shake-A-Leg Miami at its beautiful Biscayne Bay campus in Coconut Grove. While the camps serve all children, they are especially suited for children with physical, developmental and economic challenges.

| Campers spend the day kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, playing music, sailing, creating art and learning about the world around them through hands-on science activities with environmental and conservation themes.
Cost: $500 per two-week session.

Session 1: June 11th - 22nd
Session 2: June 25th – July 6th
Session 3: July 9th - July 20th
Session 4: July 23rd – Aug 3rd
Session 5: Aug 6th – Aug 17th
Ages: 7-14 years old.

Enjoy Biscayne Bay and the Adventure Islands with your class, group or sports team on a fun and educational sailing or kayaking excursion. Participants receive instruction on sailing or kayaking while exploring Biscayne Bay and learning about its ecology and inhabitants.
Cost: $25 per person
Dates: Excursions run twice a day M-Th starting June 11th
Ages: 7 and above

Kids of all abilities learn about marine science, ecology, boating skills and the natural history of Florida. Biscayne Bay becomes a living laboratory as campers sail, kayak, and explore their environment. At the same time, they meet adults and other kids from all walks of life as they learn to respect others while building their own self-esteem.
Dates: Camp runs for seven weeks from June 11th through August 17th
Availability: This camp serves students that attend our programs throughout the year from Partnering Schools. A very limited number of camp slots are available for students with disabilities who do not attend one of these partner schools.
Registration for the Academy Camp will be held at the school sites and the Shake-A-Leg Miami main facility at 2620 S. Bayshore Drive in Coconut Grove. No mailed or emailed applications will be accepted.
