The No Barriers Festival is coming to Shake-A-Leg Miami!! The festival, now in its fourth year, is a unique, international multi-day event that showcases the latest in technologies, techniques and equipment that enable people with challenges to live as actively as possible. After a very uplifting visit to the Shake-A-Leg sea base by NBUSA President Erik Weihenmayer in April 2008, both organizations began talks on bringing this event to Miami. Previous festivals have taken place in Cortina, Italy and Squaw Valley.

No Barriers USA and Shake-A-Leg Miami are very excited to collaborate on this great opportunity to showcase not only Shake-A-Leg Miami and its groundbreaking accessible water sports programs, but the greater metropolitan Miami area as well.
